Ready to get started? Complete our Referral Form — no referral required.
2. Next Steps
Our friendly team will be in touch to learn more about your child’s needs and book your first appointment. We’ll guide you through the process, match you with the right therapist, and make sure you feel confident and prepared for your first session — whether it’s in-clinic, at home, or via telehealth. Your GROW journey starts here!
3. On the Day
Parents and caregivers are welcome (and encouraged) to attend your child’s appointment. Please bring along a packed lunch box and some snacks for your child, as sessions can include play and mealtime activities. We ask that siblings don’t attend — this helps us focus fully on your child’s session, so please arrange childcare where possible. Payment is required on the day; feel free to contact our team if you’d like to discuss fees or payment options before your visit.

No, you don’t! Families can contact us directly. Referrals from doctors, paediatricians or other therapists are always welcome, but not required.
What ages do you support?
We work with children from birth through to 16 years, with a special focus on the early years when development moves fast and foundations are built.
Where do appointments take place?
We offer sessions at our Albury–Wodonga clinic, via telehealth, or in the community—home, childcare, preschool, or school—depending on your child’s needs.
How long are appointments?
Most sessions run for 45–60 minutes, but your therapist will guide you based on your child’s age and goals.
Funding & NDIS
Can I use my NDIS plan?
Absolutely. We support self-managed and plan-managed participants (and can guide you through item numbers if you’re unsure).
What if I don’t have NDIS funding yet?
You can still access services privately. Our admin team can help you understand what funding options may apply.
What happens if I need to cancel?
We understand life happens! Our cancellation policy follows the NDIS guidelines – please let us know 48 hours before your appointment when possible.
Our Approach
What makes GROW Paediatrics different?
We take a wrap-around, multidisciplinary approach—bringing together speech pathologists, OTs, nurses and educators so that all aspects of your child’s care are connected.
Do you offer feeding support for babies and children with tubes or aversions?
Yes. Our complex-care feeding team are experts in PEG/NG feeding, tube weaning, and oral-motor skill development.
What if my child doesn’t “sit still” or join in?
That’s okay! Our sessions are play-based and child-led. We meet your child where they’re at, and build trust first.
Do you work with schools and childcare centres?
Yes – we regularly collaborate with educators and provide practical strategies for home and classroom use.
Logistics & Wait Times
Is there a waiting list?
Wait times vary depending on the service. We’ll always give you an estimated start date and can place you on our “priority list” for cancellations.
How do I prepare for my first session?
Bring any relevant reports or notes, your child’s favourite toy or comfort item, and a water bottle. You’ll also receive a welcome email explaining everything step-by-step.
What should I expect after the first session?
You’ll receive a summary of what we observed, the goals we’ll work on, and recommended next steps. We work collaboratively with you every step of the way.
