What does a Registered Nurse do at Grow Paediatrics?
Our registered paediatric nurses support children and young people aged 0–18 years with medical, developmental and complex health needs, ensuring care is safe, skilled and connected across every environment.
At GROW Paediatrics, our nursing team provides:
- Clinical assessment, monitoring and coordinated medical care
- Enteral feeding support (including NG and PEG management, tube changes and education)
- Tube weaning guidance and mealtime safety support
- Sleep and settling support for medically complex infants and children
- Development of comprehensive care plans for chronic and complex conditions
- Education and training for families, educators and support workers
- Continence support and NDIS continence plans
Everything we do is centred around your child’s wellbeing, building confidence, safety and consistency in care at home, in education settings and in the community.
Our Approach
We provide integrated, child-focused nursing care that recognises the complexity of medical, developmental and family needs.
Our nurses collaborate closely with families and the broader GROW team to create clear, practical care plans that prioritise safety, consistency and confidence. Through clinical expertise, education and ongoing support, we empower families and support teams to manage complex care with clarity and reassurance.

What to expect
When you work with our registered nurses, you can expect a calm, nurturing and family-centred approach. We take the time to understand your child’s medical history, current needs and what daily life looks like for your family.
Sessions may include clinical reviews, feeding and mealtime support, care plan development, sleep and settling guidance, and hands-on training to help you feel confident managing care at home.
We keep communication open and clear, collaborate with your child’s wider care team, and ensure you always know what to expect. Our goal is to help your child feel safe, supported and well—while helping families feel empowered every step of the way.
