Supporting children with complex needs

Early intervention specialists supporting infants, children and families to thrive

At GROW Paediatrics, our mission is to provide holistic, wrap-around care for children aged 0-8 years. We are dedicated to delivering specialised services through our team of expert staff, ensuring that every child and their family receives comprehensive and compassionate support.

Our goal is to nurture each child’s development and well-being in a collaborative, family-centred environment, fostering growth and confidence for a brighter future.

Our team can support all areas of paediatric development including speech, feeding, language, play, sleep, toileting, attention and concentration. Our team are all highly experienced therapists who believe in building relationships with the families we work with to achieve goals in a family centred practice.

Meet Ada

Ada is a bright and determined two-year-old living in Myrtleford, on Taungurung Country. She lives with central core disease, which means she requires significant early intervention. With the guidance of her speech pathologist, Jessie (Director of Grow Paediatrics), she’s discovering new ways to feed, swallow, and communicate.

Tailored Therapy. Wherever You Are.

GROW Paediatrics is a leading multidisciplinary clinic in the Albury–Wodonga region, supporting children and young people aged 0–18 years across all areas of development, from early worries through to complex medical and disability needs.

Our experienced team includes complex care paediatric nurses, a paediatric feeding therapist, speech pathologists, occupational therapists with advanced neurological training, and highly skilled lead practitioners. Together, we deliver truly wraparound care, supporting communication, feeding, sleep, continence, regulation, play and learning in an integrated, family-centred approach.

We bring extensive expertise in paediatric feeding (including ARFID, craniofacial differences and complex feeding presentations), enteral feeding and medical complexity, alongside neurological areas such as sleep and toileting. Our lead practitioners provide deep knowledge in play development, social interaction and school readiness, ensuring children are supported holistically — not in silos.

Sessions are available in our central Albury clinic, in family homes, daycares, kindergartens, preschools and community settings. Telehealth consultations are also offered, ensuring families can access specialist care wherever they are, no referral required.

FAQs

Getting Started

Do I need a referral to book with GROW Paediatrics?

No, you don’t! Families can contact us directly. Referrals from doctors, paediatricians or other therapists are always welcome, but not required.

What ages do you support?

We work with children from birth through to 18 years, with a special focus on the early years when development moves fast and foundations are built.

Where do appointments take place?

We offer sessions at our Albury–Wodonga clinic, via telehealth, or in the community—home, childcare, preschool, or school—depending on your child’s needs.

How long are appointments?

Most sessions run for 45–60 minutes, but your therapist will guide you based on your child’s age and goals.

Funding & NDIS

Can I use my NDIS plan?

Absolutely. We support self-managed and plan-managed participants.

What if I don’t have NDIS funding yet?

You can still access services privately. Our admin team can help you understand what funding options may apply.

What happens if I need to cancel?

We understand life happens! Our cancellation policy follows the NDIS guidelines – please let us know 48 hours before your appointment when possible.

We have a 7 day cancellation policy in line with NDIS. We understand this can be tricky, instead of a face to face appointment we can offer telehealth or support your child’s goals in another way such as creating a tailored resource or speaking with someone in your child’s team.

Our Approach

What makes GROW Paediatrics different?

We take a wrap-around, multidisciplinary approach—bringing together speech pathologists, OTs, nurses and educators so that all aspects of your child’s care are connected.

Do you offer feeding support for babies and children with tubes or aversions?

Yes. Our multidisciplinary feeding team has extensive experience supporting infants and children with PEG and NG feeding, tube weaning and oral-motor skill development. We provide safe, evidence-informed care tailored to each child’s medical, sensory and developmental needs — working closely with families and medical teams to build confident, positive feeding experiences.

What if my child doesn’t “sit still” or join in?

That’s okay! Our sessions are play-based and child-led. We meet your child where they’re at, and build trust first.

Do you work with schools and childcare centres?

Yes – we regularly collaborate with educators and provide practical strategies for home and classroom use.

Logistics & Wait Times

Is there a waiting list?

Wait times vary depending on the service. We’ll always give you an estimated start date and can place you on our “priority list” for cancellations.

How do I prepare for my first session?

Bring any relevant reports or notes, your child’s favourite toy or comfort item, and a water bottle. You’ll also receive a welcome email explaining everything step-by-step.

What should I expect after the first session?

Following your first session, you will receive a clear summary of our observations, identified strengths and areas for support, and the goals we recommend moving forward. We will outline practical next steps and discuss a plan tailored to your child and family.

We work in close partnership with you throughout the process, ensuring you feel informed, supported and confident at every stage.

Get in Touch

Once you submit your enquiry, our friendly admin team will review your details and be in touch within 1–2 business days to talk through next steps and answer any questions.

Note: You don’t need to have it all figured out – just share what’s on your mind and we’ll help you with the next steps.
